I have been looking for knitting patterns for a baby (12 months) that has an instarsia cat pattern for a while. I have scoured Ravelry and Pinterest but it is very elusive!
Here is the book I found. Cute and Easy Crochet.
While looking through these patterns, I noticed there were several knitting patterns for Barbie dolls and I did consider buying them for my friend who is sewing clothes for her granddaughter's doll but I thought she wouldn't like them. Sewing the clothes is fiddly enough and I think you'd have to knit on cocktail sticks to make Barbie clothes! I left them in the shop. I'll have to come up with a different Christmas present for my friend!
This week, I have been busy designing a cloche hat. All the patterns I found online wouldn't work with the yarn I have and I had a particulary style in mind. I have been inspired by the hats on Downton Abbey.
Talking of Downton Abbey, I'm looking forward to the next film. I want to see all the characters again and it looks like there will be a wedding this time too.
I'm hoping to have a collection of crochet patterns written up and published next year. I have lots of ideas written in my notebook and an image for an autumnal scarf in my head. I may pair it with the cloche hat with some clever decorations.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
